We're onboarding drivers corridor by corridor, so payment isn't yet automated in-app. When you submit a booking request, our team calls or WhatsApps you to confirm the truck and send an M-Pesa payment request directly. Automated M-Pesa escrow (pay at booking, released on delivery) is in development.
Live GPS tracking is part of the platform we're building and is shown as a preview on this site. Full live tracking activates as we onboard verified drivers in your area — our team will let you know when it's available on your route.
You can add optional cargo insurance when you submit a booking request. This is arranged with our team at confirmation. We also plan to build in-app cargo photography at pickup as a digital record for both parties.
Drivers are paid to their M-Pesa number once a trip is confirmed complete. PickApp retains an 11% commission from the fare. See our full driver requirements page for onboarding and compliance details.
We are currently onboarding drivers and shippers on the Mombasa Road, Thika Road, and Industrial Area corridors in Nairobi. We plan to expand to Mombasa and Kisumu, with Uganda and Tanzania cross-border routes to follow. Sign up to be notified when we reach your area.
